Horreur!! Grands Dieux !!! Par tous les Saints!!! ... l' inénnarable Steevy Boulay aka Steevy du Loft aurait-il un jumeau américain en la personne du fashion guru Richie Rich? I am lucky to live in a very pretty and picturesque area of Paris just between Pigalle and Montmartre.
Along the sinuous streets going up to the Sacré Coeur is the the atelier of a talented jewellery designer I discovered a while ago.
Geraldine Valluet is a Parisian born and bread jewellery designer. Her creative universe is poetic, beautiful, romantic...
Think precious and delicate tourmaline and aquamarine pendants, earings, quartz or citrine rings...
All her creations can be seen in her boudoir-style showroom rue Houdon.
In her studio, Geraldine and her staff handmade unique jewels with semi-precious stones, pearls and Swarovski crystals.

"London Calling"
London is always the perfect break for me, just jumping on the Eurostar and after a 2 hours trip, and here I am, in central london!
Sunny skies, fresh winter wind...I decided to start my london journey with a lovely walk to Primrose Hill, just admire the view :
Not to miss around Primrose Hill, especially along Regent's Park road :
Lost in Beauty, a very charming retro boutique with a great selection of some of the best cosmetics brands.
I just fell for british new brand Alexandra Soveral. Made with exclusive organic components, her skin and body lines have been praised by the international press such as Vogue, the Times and greatly deserve it ! Her balms and oils are pure and smell divine!

Titien, Veronese and Tintoretto at the Louvre
The great Masters of 16th century painting in Venice are currently exhibited at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
So if you plan to visit the City of Lights, it's a "must-see"! Forget Mona Lisa (overcrowded by thousand of tourists anyway...)
Until January 4th 2010 these renaissance masterpieces are displayed and unfold before your eyes: the incredible colours, the expressive lines, the magic is there !
Here are some highlights of the exhibition:

Le politiquement incorrect est de retour...Ouf!!!
On dit souvent qu'en matière d'humour les français ne pratiquent pas beaucoup l'auto dérision, par contre ils adorent rire de leurs politiciens et sont devenus maitres en matière de satire politique.
Il y a 30 ans déjà, les pionniers comme Coluche, Le Luron et Desproges avaient frappé très fort et si tous les 3 sont malheureusement partis trop tôt, les amuseurs publics actuels ont pris la relève.
Signe des temps, les chansonniers ont a nouveau la côte: la Revue de Presse des 2 ânes fait un carton d'audience tous les mois sur Paris Première et Anne Roumanoff est devenue la star des fins d'après-midi du dimanche chez Michel Drucker...
Le rire et la dérision restent le meilleur des remèdes contre la déprime et si les dents grincent chez les politiques de tous poils, les français en redemandent!

Vive COCOCOOK !!!
Me promenant dans le Marais, mon quartier chéri ou j'ai passé mes années étudiantes - ah tant de bons souvenirs !! - et l'estomac dans les talons, je suis rentrée par hasard chez Cococook rue Charlot.Et le hasard m'a bien gâté!
Cococook propose des bons petits plats ultra sains et ultra-frais, tout est homemade, du sandwich saumon gravelax au divin carrot-cake.
Les filles de Cococook sont adorables et la déco trop mignonne !
La bonne idée à emporter en + de votre lunch: la planche d'autocollants aux légumes rigolos à coller sur le frigo en rentrant à la maison!
Chez Coco on est "environment friendly" et tout est bio, ici pas de sacs plastiques.
